The Log Blog was started by a couple of city dwellers who wanted a place to go for when they needed to go when they were on the…go. Their hope is to create a database for all to share of the best (and worst) bathrooms in Cincinnati. These reviews are written from non-Jolly employees and is a sponsored blog by Jolly Plumbing.
MAPLEWOOD DOWNTOWN
Downtown, Cincinnati
Our Privy Opinion
When you’ve finished eating your delicious eggs, pancakes and goetta and need to goetta to the bathroom (I’m sorry for just how bad that pun is), don’t worry, Maplewood has got you. Or should I have said goet you?
This restroom is like a poolatial estate. Clean enough to eat your brunch off of, comfortable enough to take your time, and the ambiance isn’t perfect but it’s got such a subtle and soothing vibe that you’ll almost forget your exploding your insides into a porcelain bowl. Did I mention the stall is it’s own separate room?!? Magical, I know.
The only thing that might be tough in this one is how accessible it is when you show up. There’s typically a line when you enter and employees waiting by the door. It’s likely busy enough that you can slip through unnoticed but Maplewood is the type of place that doesn’t let non-customers enjoy. But if you do goetta chance (that’s the third time, I’m so sorry again), it is well worth any challenge you might face to poo in this place.
