The Log Blog was started by a couple of city dwellers who wanted a place to go for when they needed to go when they were on the…go. Their hope is to create a database for all to share of the best (and worst) bathrooms in Cincinnati. These reviews are written from non-Jolly employees and is a sponsored blog by Jolly Plumbing.
REVEL OTR URBAN WINERY
OTR, Cincinnati
Our Privy Opinion
With its wooden floors, exposed brick, and continued red/navy color scheme matching the wine bar, Revel’s bathrooms are just the right combo of historic OTR, rustic, and revamped. The accessibility is also great: no one checking IDs at the door (at least not during any of our many visits) and the first floor bathroom just past the bar on your left.
Comfort is right on point, there is ample room for activities, and a bonus for the all-gender policy. Cleanliness is a fickle category, when we happened to be there it was almost spotless with a few pieces of trash on the floor. Privacy is also good. When friends expressed concern about the fogged glass window in the door, we tried to look through it and peek at each other pottying, but all we could see was light and shadow. Any ‘plop’ noises were drowned out by the sweet sounds of jazz.
