Make Your Home a Jolly Home

Showers and bathtubs are used daily, which means wear on your plumbing system builds up over time. Small issues can lead to leaks, drainage problems, or fixture failures if not addressed early.

Jolly provides shower and bath repair services in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, handling common fixture problems as well as more involved repairs. Moisture exposure, frequent use, and aging components all contribute to gradual deterioration in these areas.

Over time, components such as valves, seals, and drains can wear down or shift, especially in spaces exposed to constant moisture. These issues often develop gradually before becoming noticeable. Frequent use and hard water conditions in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky homes can also accelerate wear on shower and bath components.

Problems often begin with small changes in performance before becoming more noticeable. Schedule shower and bath repair in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to restore proper function and prevent further damage.

Common Shower Problems

Shower fixtures experience constant use, which can lead to a range of issues.

  • Leaking shower heads or valves: often caused by worn seals or internal components

  • Low or inconsistent water pressure: which can indicate buildup or supply-related restrictions

  • Clogged drains affecting water flow: commonly linked to debris accumulation over time

  • Mold or mildew buildup around surfaces: driven by ongoing moisture exposure

  • Temperature control issues: tied to valve wear or internal imbalance

These problems can affect performance and lead to water damage if left unaddressed.

Common Bathtub Problems

Bathtubs can develop issues over time due to regular use and exposure to moisture.

  • Leaks around fixtures or connections: often related to worn seals or loose fittings

  • Slow or blocked drains: caused by a buildup that restricts proper drainage

  • Cracks or surface wear in the tub: which can worsen with continued use

  • Loose or worn components: affecting stability and performance

  • Water not draining properly: indicating potential blockage or alignment issues

Damage in these areas can affect both function and surrounding materials.

Shower and Bath Repair Services

Repair services focus on identifying the source of the issue and restoring the fixture to proper function. This may involve evaluating valves, drains, seals, and internal components that influence performance.

Once the issue is identified, affected parts are addressed with attention to both visible and concealed components. Repairs are completed to support consistent operation and reduce the likelihood of recurring problems.

In cases where fixture issues are connected to underlying plumbing, those areas are reviewed to ensure the repair addresses the full scope of the problem. After the repair is completed, the fixture is tested to confirm proper flow, drainage, and temperature control.

When to Repair vs Replace

In many cases, repairs can restore proper function when the issue is limited to a specific component such as a valve, seal, or drain assembly.

Replacement may be recommended when fixtures show widespread wear, recurring problems, or compatibility issues with existing plumbing. Updating older units can improve performance and reduce the chance of repeated repairs.

Shower and Bath Installation

Installation services include replacing outdated fixtures and setting up new shower or bath units. Proper fitting helps reduce the risk of leaks and supports reliable performance over time.

Installations are completed with attention to alignment, sealing, and integration with existing plumbing connections. Replacing older fixtures can also improve function and support more consistent water flow and drainage.

I can’t say enough about Tyler and the young man that was with him forgive me but I don’t remember his name. They saved the day. It’s not always a welcoming site when you get off of working 3rd shift and come home to a burst water heater tank. Tyler was efficient, quick, compassionate and understanding. Thank you so much guys!!!!

Today we had our first visit as part of the Jolly Home Plan, and Dominic came and provided an AC inspection/cleaning service. He was extremely thorough on his findings and suggested items to be replaced in an honest and non-pushy way. We instantly found him to be a trustworthy source, and we look forward to our future maintenance visits.

I’ve had these guys out twice for urgent plumbing issues. They were able to get someone out to me right away both times and these guys are super nice and accommodating. Thank you to Cory or Cody (sorry I can’t remember your name), Alex, and Anthony for your plumbing expertise. Also, Dominic, who was an add on service to assess my HVAC system. He was awesome as well!
Would like to add that I became a VIP member so the price was reasonable for the first service and the second time actually fell under a covered service, which was great.

Reviewed sump maintenance
Electrical service in the community was knocked out. Alarm kept going off and pump appeared to not be working.
Sump was on back up battery.
Noah was very pleasant and arrived quickly. He explained in an understandable way how the pump worked that it was still pumping but could only pump small amounts.
I am concerned that battery will go dead before electric is turned back on!!!
However, Noah is a great service person.

We are big fans of Jolly! Yesterday their electrician, Will, installed new outdoor light fixtures, added lighting to our basement, and fixed some wiring issues. He was competent, a good problem-solver, and was a delight to work with. We highly recommend!

I’ve moved a few times around Fort Mitchell, and apparently I have a unique talent for buying houses where the previous owner hired Dr. Frankenstein to design the HVAC system. Every new house comes with some horrifying collection of mismatched equipment, questionable decisions, and mysterious wires stitched together while someone presumably screamed, “IT’S ALIVE!”

And inevitably… the monster dies.

Thankfully, Jolly Plumbing, Heating & Air has become my HVAC emergency contact. Every time something goes sideways, they’ve managed to get someone out the same day when possible or the next day at the latest. They’re quick to diagnose the problem, explain what’s happening in terms a normal human can understand, and get things moving again.

Working with Danny is always a treat. He’s never given me the pushy salesman routine or tried to convince me that my broken furnace somehow means I also need a new water heater, humidifier, hot tub, and second mortgage. He listens, gives logical recommendations, explains the options, and provides the expertise I don’t have so I can make an informed decision.

My installation crews have historically been led by Jacob, who is an absolute master of his craft. He’s quick, professional, tidy, respectful, and somehow manages to take the mechanical crime scene I purchased and turn it into something that looks like it was designed by an actual engineer instead of a mad scientist.

So here’s my advice… do your research before buying a house. Look closely at the HVAC system. Ask questions. Bring an inspector. Maybe bring a priest.

And if you ignore all that advice and buy the house anyway… save Jolly’s number. You’ll be glad you did.
